Delete your Rovatrove account

You can permanently delete your Rovatrove account and its data at any time. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open Rovatrove and go to the Account tab.
2. Choose Delete account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm.

Your account and data are removed the moment you confirm.

Can’t access the app?

Email support@rovatrove.comfrom the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account.” We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What gets deleted

• Your profile and sign-in credentials (including any Google sign-in link)
• All subscriptions and their private forwarding addresses
• All stored feed content and messages
• Your encrypted vault data (the ciphertext we hold; we never had the key)
• All sessions and tokens

What happens to your subscription addresses

The private addresses created for your subscriptions stop accepting mail immediately. To make sure they are never reassigned to another person, the address strings themselves are held in reserve for a short closure window after deletion, then purged. They are not connected to any account during that time.

Anything we keep?

Nothing tied to your identity. We may retain minimal records where the law requires it (for example, records of abuse reports), and residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.

Note: deleting your Rovatrove account does not cancel paid plans billed through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel those in your store subscription settings to stop billing.
