Terms of Service

Effective date: July 3, 2026

These terms govern your use of Rovatrove (the app, this website, and the services behind them, together the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Rovatrove delivers content you choose to follow (newsletters, feeds, channels, podcasts) into a single private feed, using per-subscription forwarding addresses that protect your real email. Rovatrove is a conduit for content you subscribe to: the publishers you follow are responsible for what they publish, and we do not endorse, edit, or take editorial responsibility for third-party content that flows through the Service.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).
  • You are responsible for your credentials and for activity on your account.
  • One person per account; keep your account information accurate.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break the law, or infringe others’ rights (including copyright);
  • send, solicit, or relay spam, malware, phishing, or fraudulent content;
  • store or transmit child sexual abuse material (detected material is reported to NCMEC and the account terminated);
  • harass, threaten, or defame others;
  • probe, overload, or interfere with the Service, other users’ accounts, or our infrastructure;
  • resell, scrape, or programmatically harvest the Service without our written permission;
  • create subscription addresses for unlawful impersonation or evasion of legal obligations.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through the app store you purchased from (Google Play or, in the future, the Apple App Store), under that store’s payment terms. Manage or cancel your plan in your store account settings; store refund policies apply. We never see your payment card details.

5. Content and copyright

Content delivered to your subscriptions belongs to its publishers and is shown to you for personal, non-commercial use. If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@rovatrove.comincluding: (a) the copyrighted work; (b) the infringing material and where you found it; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the copyright owner. We will remove or disable access to infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers’ accounts.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time (see Account Deletion). Deletion is immediate and irreversible. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your account for breach of these terms, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the Service; where practical we will give you notice.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that content delivery will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, or that any third-party publisher will keep publishing.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rovatrove will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Rovatrove’s operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
